I am thinking about taking a break from my work. I was hoping for more of an organized holiday for the past few months, but all of our schedules have been rather scattered, and we have not been able to do anything special at all. I guess that I kind of want something nice when we can actually find some time to take a holiday. Hopefully, it will be one of those Cape Portfolios Holidays that I have been looking forward to. I keep thinking about it and I might just drive myself crazy if I do not go through with it. I really do hope that things work out for the very best and that I get to go where I want to go. I think that it will be worth the investment because it will give me a time to relax and not think about anything else at all.

As an attorney Seattle, I’m always concerned with people’s safety. Staying on top of the recall news is very important to me. In accordance with recent news, certain school buses manufactured by Trans Tech are being recalled.
Trans Tech has issued this recall of specific models of school buses since they were produced with an AC.E White Cushion seat that may not be functioning properly. This problem could pose a severe threat to children.
The recalled buses were produced between May 2010 and July 2011 and the issue behind this recall lies in the self-latching item present on the faulty seat. According to the news, this item won’t react properly when a crash occurs.
If the seat isn’t latched accordingly, it could flip up and be misplaced out of its proper position, which could cause severe injuries to passengers. I’m glad that no injuries or accidents have been linked to these recalled school buses.
I urge bus owners to check their vehicles for the recalled model and follow the instructions from the company if you own one of the over three hundred affected vehicles.

There was a picture I saw somewhere recently, I can’t recall where, but it had a profound effect on me. It was a simple illustration of a human figure lying on the ground with a sphere, almost a wrecking ball you see on television destroying a building blow by blow, lying on top of him, effectively crushing him. There were words next to each of the two subjects of the drawing pointing to each respectively. The word ‘past’ pointed to the ball, the word ‘present’ to the squashed human figure. How accurate a description of our modern human condition I thought.
The past represented in such a way points to a universal depression of sorts, a burden we are crippled by, that we are all susceptible to. Are we all in our own way paralysed within ourselves due to a deep regret of all that we’ve done? Are we exhausted with regret? I went for a medical checkup and it seems that my blood sugar levels are very high, which have not spiraled to a point where it could be diabetes. However, my doctor told me that I am at a pre-diabetes stage and he advised me to start planning a pre diabetes diet. When my dogs know it’s time to go for their daily walk, they don’t care what it’s doing outside. I on the other hand, do care. I certainly don’t take them out if there is a storm going on, but if it’s just a little rainy, we go anyway. I live on five acres with a little wooded area and that’s their favorite place to do their business. They have a pen that they have access to day and night through a doggie door in the kitchen, but they don’t like to go in the pen!
We use dog raincoats for them because two have fine short hair and get pretty wet easily. My third dog, he has very thick, very long hair and any rain on him makes a terrible mess! He has to be towel dried as soon as he come back in or blow dried if we don’t use the raincoats. Having one dog to dry off when you walk in the rain is one thing, but having three dogs to dry is another. That’s why the raincoats are a big help in keeping them dry and they save me a little time.
